In Mourning for Our Queen

As dusk falls gently upon the fading light,

We gather here, heavy with the weight of loss,

In the silence, echoes of her laughter linger,

A melody that fills the spaces of our days.

Our queen, a beacon of grace and strength,

With every smile, she uplifted our spirits—

A presence that soothed, a love unyielding,

Her warmth a comfort for wounds we scarcely showed.

Now, as shadows dance where light once flourished,

We reflect on the richness she brought to our lives,

A garden of memories blooming quietly,

Each moment whispering tales of courage and hope.

Though the crown now rests in solemn stillness,

Her spirit flows through the air we breathe,

In the rustle of leaves, the gentle caress of wind,

A reminder that love knows no bounds, no end.

Let us gather our sorrow, fold it into compassion,

For in mourning her, we honor the legacy she left—

United in shared grief, finding solace

In the warmth of our collective embrace.

So, as we grieve, dear ones, let us not forget,

The light she ignited in each of us still shines,

Together, we'll carry her wisdom, her laughter,

An eternal flame, guiding us through the darkest of times.

In our memories, she reigns evermore,

A leader cherished, forever adored.

Rest In Peace Our Beloved Queen Elizabeth
