I'm In Love With Every Day

poem

By Paul CrockerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I watch the sun come up.

I become a lovesick pup.

I watch the sun go down.

My emotions go to town.

What can I say?

I'm falling in love every day.

I hear the song from a bird that is out of sight.

Though it is unseen, I still feel the delight.

I hear the song from the windswept trees.

My heart is put at ease.

I don't just acquaint with the darling buds of May.

I'm falling in love every day.

I feel your hand against my own palm.

I sense nothing but peace and calm.

I feel your hand hold me above the storm.

My soul knows you are so caring and warm.

I am finely tuned to the uniqueness of your way.

I'm falling in love every day.
