Whether my armor is shining, or not

Regardless of weakened Shield, or a blade no longer finely sharpened

I will embark on the journey to maintain your health and safety

For if lately I have failed

Then to the wall, may my own heart be nailed against

I will effortlessly come to your defense

With every taken breath in this aging body

//

They can call me whatever they like

But few grow the balls to strike in comparison to lips spewing foolishness

I will dip my hand in the ocean of your allure and magnetism

For the prism of your thoughtfulness and honor keep me invigorated

Elated and prepared I am, and therefore where I stand, I stay

Immovable in my beliefs

My love for you never to be led astray

//

If you kiss my helmet, it will never split in two

Your lips on my blade create a force that none will be able to break through

The key to my every victory is you

And so, amidst the turmoil of a world where women aren't protected enough

I will protect you with all I possess

All that I am stands at the mercy and word of your lips

In defense of your love

*Brothers, let's ensure the protection of our women.

**Poem dedicated to my Queen, Sabrina!
