After struggling with a lung disease he can finally breathe easy.
A complicated strained relationship we had and I bid him farewell.
His wife gone in January and now he is alone no more.
Dad, If I had the words to say it i would,
But hear me now in the afterlife,
I will love you as long as I am alive,
I will treasure life lessons you gave me,
Will not hold any bitterness that may have lingered get between us.
I wish when our energies collide, and we reunite
Our problems with one another dissipate,
And we become one again.

I'm so sorry for your loss! You wrote such a beautiful and touching poem for his memory, he will live on in this forever.
Beautiful. Your release and forgiveness is beautiful.

this touched me because the honesty in your goodbye shows how love can still shine through even when things were hard thank you for sharing such a personal and heartfelt piece❤
This was tender and full of heart! Sending you good vibes, soft hugs, and all the healing marshmallows you need. What a meaningful piece! ✨
Oh! Sid. It is so strange how couples pass so close to each other. I wish they had reached out to you before that happened. I too know how being estranged from your family members can hurt, but nothing you can do if they are stubborn. But let peace flow like rivers of healing waters over you. Luckily you have Vocal so you can journal your thoughts and heal, hugs and blessings.
I wish that too. But just in case I'm going to find someone I love and tell them I love them.
Sid, this is so heartbreakingly beautiful. It put a tear in my eyes and feeling through my body. I can relate to this. What a very powerful message. Thank you for writing this. I am so sorry for your loss and may your father rest in peace.
May his soul rest in peace. Loved your poem!
