Dour and grey they stomp,
Dirty charcoal smudges up,
The canvas unseen.
A/N: Hello there once again! Sorry for another extended leave of absence - I had another unfortunate health decline. Happy to be back though!
I wanted this haiku to have a double meaning. While I am admiring the dark and oppressive yet temporary stormy clouds, I am also self-reflecting on a battle with depression. Some days, I can't see the blue sky - and that's okay - natural even. The storms will clear my canvas once again <3
I can't wait to have a lovely autumn reading session to catch up with what you have all been writing!

Lovely haiku… the grey smudges contrast with brighter colours. Hope you’re going well.🤗
Great Haiku! Greats a real feel~
I’m glad you’re feeling better, and that you’re back. Great Haiku, the second line was such a vivid image well done
ach, friend. Sorry I missed this. But, went snooping on you and found it lol. Sorry, too, that you've been struggling some more. I know how bad the depression can be...and then when you have all you have to deal with already. Must be so hard. I am really genuinely sorry and hope things lighten some for you soon! This was a beautiful piece, though. And...it's always good to read something new from you!
