I asked the heart: How long will you live?
It said: Love is my life where it breathes.
I asked love: How long will you stay?
It said: The soul is thirsty when close.
I asked distance: Have you told about me?
The beloved of the heart when close.
It said: I am a hoopoe to you in
The life of love when close, it swims.
I forgot that I am far from it.
And I remembered that this love is stingy.
I was stingy with it to those close to me.
I found it for those who are alert in distance.
If I asked for friendship, I would say: My friendship
To the owner of the heart... I am healthier with him.
I was born and my birth is on a day of friendship
And that day the morning was kind
I am deaf, I do not hear
To the gossipers the voice of hatred barks
I will live for friendship and I do not care
Because the talk of this love is salty.

Kisama Riyo
I have always been interested in poetry and essay, especially rhyme style, so I decided to post my essay here and see if I have any talent in poetry or not.
