Frosty Autumn Days Turn Into Winter

The frost looks pretty.

By Darla M SeelyPublished 3 months ago Updated 3 months ago 1 min read

Air carries a piercing sharp chill

As the world appears quiet, still.

A low - lying mist hugs the ground.

A delicate beauty is found.

There is frost on the window pane.

Icicles form from freezing rain.

Autumn fog is a silent guest.

The rustling leaves make us feel blessed.

The sun cast some long warm-toned rays.

There is clear skies on these Autumn days.

Sparkling spectacle of ice, light

Silver fallen leaves - awesome sight.

Our breath hangs in the crisp air.

The deciduous trees are bare.

Grass blades crunch, they're soft and white.

There's sometimes a hard freeze at night.

Winter comes - frost is constructive.

A "killing frost" - destructive.

Last leaves fall then branches are bare.

It's colder, dancer, drier air.
