First Love’s Glow

The warmth and innocence of a first love.

By Budas KinPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

A glance, a smile, a fleeting touch,

The heart awakens, feels too much.

A spark ignites, a flame takes flight,

The world is bathed in softer light.

The first embrace, so pure, so new,

A tender bond between us grew.

Each whispered word, each stolen glance,

A melody of sweet romance.

The days were gold, the nights were stars,

Our dreams were bound, no walls, no bars.

We held the world within our hands,

And built a castle on shifting sands.

But first love blooms and often fades,

Like morning mist in sunlight’s rays.

Yet still it lingers, soft and true,

A memory time cannot undo.

For in that love, we came alive,

It taught us how to dream and strive.

Though paths may part, the heart will know,

The warmth of that first love’s glow.

So here's to love, that tender start,

The echo etched in every heart.

A chapter sweet, a fleeting flame,

Yet life was never quite the same.
