So close to being stir crazy

No sunshine for nearly a week

A sign of brighter days

Is all I really seek

A month of freezing temperatures

Snow and ice covers the ground

Tired of being stuck inside

Relief is nowhere to be found

Cabin fever has set in

Eggs for breakfast are great

How long will this weather last

For summer I just can’t wait

A glimmer of hope appears

The sun gleams through the clouds

Warmth fills the air

So bold and so proud

Clouds roll back in the sky

Snow melts as water flows from ice

Finally, sunshine

It feels so very nice
