Edge of the Blade

Poem

By Paul CrockerPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Homophobic man, that I spy.

I'm not going to drop and die.

Give me all you got.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I won’t rot.

Edge of the blade.

Is it going to slice me up?

Planning to me my just desserts.

Great thing is, it doesn’t hurt.

So I won’t shed a tear.

Since I now feel no fear.

Edge of the blade.

Does it feel sharp?

Thinking you are so huge.

I get very tired of you.

What do you want?

Give me that same old taunt.

Edge of the blade.

Will I feel its stabbing pain?

Do you want to see my blood?

Pound my face in the mud?

Sorry to spoil your fun.

Your life wrecking days are done.

Edge of the blade.

Your blade has got rusty and blunt.
