Earthly elements intrigue

The tangible ways we feel truly alive

By Shirley TwistPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

all fear tossed aside

ocean chills me, salty kiss

rolling endless blue

I’m flying now, free

warm zephyr caresses me

thought blown asunder

candle splutters, spits

hot wax flicks gently, nicely

flaming enchantment

digging the dense earth,

home to a pale petalled rose

it quivers ‘thank you’
