Don’t Say You Love Me
Although It’s What I Want To Hear

I Thought,
I Found A Special Place
Where I Could Rest Inside Your Heart,
I Thought That This Time,
My Love Would Fly
Higher Than The Stars…
But Like A Crescent Moon
I Only Received Half Of You…
Here I Lay
Alone In Bed
Surrounded By These Words In My Head…
(Empty Are The Eyes,
But Inside Your Heart,
Lies Are The Prize)…
You Say That You Love Me,
And I Wish For It To Be True,
But Love Isn’t Full Of Regret,
So I Don’t Want You To Say It Yet…

Beautiful
Beautiful poem as always! You have such a knack for writing poems about love.
This is very profound and heartfelt. Emotional
Wow, the topic was ideal. It driven me to read this. Fantastic lines.
You are one very open person with your feelings, and it shows in your work.
I love the depth and vulnerability found in your poem. Well done.
