Before they ever came for any of them
I was screaming at the gate
Before they took the first immigrant
I was bellowing in the street
Before they re-elected the tyrant
I was warning them like a siren blaring through the night
and now that all our days are full of danger and plight
Know that I stood up, I screamed, I warned, and fought
PLEASE, Dear God...don't let it all be for nought.
