Creation's Beauty

The peaceful beauty of nature

Looking out the window,

Mist is in the air.

I think not of my sorrow,

and I have not a single care.

The wind goes blowing by,

The air is fresh and new.

Creation's beauty has caught my eye;

It is rare, special, and true.

The birds chirp and sing;

The bugs buzz and hum.

They worry not of a single thing

And they have no reason to be glum.

The sun shines high and bright,

Its rays beam down below,

Until the fall of night.

Then where does the sunshine go?

The day is now cold and dark.

All life is quiet and still.

In the sky the stars spark,

And the cool air I do feel.

The moon provides the light

Yet still all is dim,

And the twinkling stars are quite

A sight when beholding them.
