Constructive Criticism

Present front and center

limp but rigid

like a mannequin

eyes unfocused

every fingertip touch

each nodded instruction

inhabiting me

background processing

not taking action

action takes me

across the floor

muscle memory in action

practice

makes progress

perfect practice

makes perfect

perfection the goal

no one achieves
