I don’t know if you’re a boy or a girl

I don’t know if you know yourself

I don’t know you have thought about it

I don’t know if your blood-red mouth speaks the truth

You sit there imperiously

Yet shattered underneath

You sit there coveting attention

Yet your insecurity shines through

I can’t tell if your blood-red mouth knows the truth

Yet what does it matter what you are?

You will find out one day

You don’t know if it matters or not

Yet you are perfect in every way

I know one day your blood-red mouth will speak the truth
