Blessing Bring Us Happiness
This is a poem based on this lovely painting by Denise Ernst called βBlessingsβ
I said she should write a poem about it, but she painted it, and provided me with this inspiration.
I was trying to think of a musical piece to go with this and think that Beanfields by The Penguin Cafe Orchestra will make you appreciate all your blessings.
This is a Butterfly Cinquain inspired by Denise's painting.

Lately, I'm empty
Lately, I feel an emptiness inside of me that doesnβt make any sense. I was fine a week ago and now Iβm numb to the pain that Iβve been carrying around. Numb to the idea of me existing. I wish I could go to a place where I can hear happy positive thoughts and surround myself with joy. The medication Iβm on doesnβt seem to work anymore. I still feel pain from existing, why am I here anyways? Merely to exist. I donβt feel like Iβm making any differences being here.
