How can we call ourselves
Homo sapiens, or adults,
if we can’t even decode,
what our body is desperately,
trying to convey?
Nobody told me this,
but I figured it out.
I was sick and inflamed,
my hormones were chaotic,
I was beyond sad,
looking for solutions
— something natural.
My spouse’s deodorant aerosol
wafted into my room,
tightened my chest,
and I had an 'Eureka' moment.
I told him, let's
banish all scented things,
from the house.
Low estrogenic exposure,
will bring me healing.
He cooperated.
We kept only
body wash, face wash,
laundry detergent, toothpaste —
most of them fragrance-free.
And my immune system
started to recover.
Nerve scarring eased up.
Inflammation score dropped,
Body felt pain-free,
We got healthy kids.
I felt the benefits big time —
so I share this nugget
with all my fellow humans.
Even for creatures —
it's critical, for
they have strong olfactory sense.
So why must we, act ignorant
and poison ourselves?
Be honest with yourself,
tbad habit,
if dismissed, can spiral into,
tomorrow’s health catastrophe.
Tell me —
avoiding perfumes now,
or facing chemo, surgery later?
Which one seems easier?
Let’s not be prisoners of chemicals.
Let’s make wise lifestyle choices.
Note: Chemicals make the body acidic, which damage nerves, muscles, blood, and bones, among other body parts too.
So, minimize chemical exposure through mouth, nose and skin path.

Captivating poem and well written.
What a great way to teach health issues for future generations and now. Good job.
Very good work 👏
