After the Next

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Mushing on and on,
Properties feels
Like journeys on a beach.
Eyes grounded,
Are numbered already a path,
Transformed them as I feet.
Not alone, I have people.
Are places to go,
And the next, things.
When so,
Venturing to stations like me.
They magnanimously
Looks like a discovery.
Each with the same name,
"Cumulonimbus"
"Cumulonimbus"
"Cumulonimbus"
"Cumulonimbus"
"Cumulonimbus"
People, places, and things...
After the next.
