A chill hangs in the air, a bitterness knicks the air.

Slowly the cold comes in a night.

The crisp air soon falls and covers the ground in icy white sprinkles

Under the midnight moon the harvest turns to a glacial world

Crunch. crunch. under your feet as the frost takes over.

The dark green elms and birches welcome the forming ice crystals

"Welcome to the woods," the trees whisper to one another because soon silence would fill the air

Jack frost lets out a laugh of playfulness as the grass turns stiff.

The distant mountains are waiting for snow as the earth grows cold

The last remaining leaves fall as the ice heaves them down

The ice expands its horizons to the glass of a window

"Snow will follow" it whispers as the cold spreads over.

The sun appears in the sky and the light hits, the sparkle shines creating luminescent scenes

The crystals like glass erect small colored rainbows bouncing left and right

This is the first frost

This is the world transformed into crystals of ice
