I paint cakes, candies, cupcakes and cookies,
of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel.
I write of pain, of loss and the meaning of life.
I paint Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas,
and everything in between.
I write about love, nature, and what moves me that day,
my art, my crafts or make-believe, full of play.
I paint using the finest of brush strokes, loose ones too,
hoping that my viewer will understand what I drew.
I write with rhyme in mind,
but if I falter, please be kind.
I paint digitally using my ipad,
of botanical delights, patterns and plaids.
I write for joy, I paint for fun,
oh what a life I have and hope to never be done.
