Caught in the fire of the bombs, in the gaze of hell

a scornful second and a laugh that haunts me,

but I doubt their humanities.

It was at 2:16 that my heart stopped.

May their God forgive them, I believe he always does

given what they have done and intend to do.

Eyes don't lie, they'll be damned.

It was at 2:16 that my heart stopped.

The worst part of it all, with their prayer,

they'll go to heaven, and I'll go to hell.

The irony of a world that only mocks.

It was at 2:16 that my heart stopped.

But one day, she will be sad, because her heart was wrong.

She'll read a story and leave in a dream.

I'll stop looking for why when it will appease her down,

May my heart, which has stopped, be used to save her.
