dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Does Your Dog Sleep In Your Bed With You?
Dogs sleeping with their owners is a popular trend. Dogs have been sleeping in the bed with their owners in many cultures for centuries. Reports show that most dog owners share their bed with their dog. A Mayo Clinic study reveals that 56 percent of owners allow their dogs to sleep in their bed.

The Beautiful Bichon Frise
I have loved dogs my whole life. I do prefer smaller dogs to larger dogs because sometimes I am a little frightened although some large breeds like German Shepherds are just the most loyal, lovable friends. About seven years ago I met a beautiful Bichon Frise, named Faux Paus, and I was completely enthralled with her. So much so that her owner gave us one of her puppies, the female runt of the litter. We decided to name her Penne. She is a typical Bichon Frise. So what does that really mean?

My Teddy Bear
With great sadness I have outlived a few dogs in my adult life and every time a new dog comes into my life I think "this is my perfect dog", completely ignoring the fact that I've said it every time previously. Obviously they're all perfect, just in different ways.

Loving a Princess
My 17 1/2 year old Shih Tzu, Candygirl, passed away in 2018 and I was heartbroken, and so was Honeybug, my Yorkie-Poo. So after several months, I decided to start looking at rescue dogs. My friend since high school years rescued a yorkie that was adorable from Storyteller's Express, Canton, NY, and had a very good experience. So I went on their website and started my search. It didn't take a long time before a little pair of dark sparkling eyes captured my heart. My Princess (not her original name) was one of a pair of Papillon/Maltese girls that were rescued from a Amish puppy mill and were in need of new homes after they were vetted. Princess was very traumatized after being in the puppy mill for approximately six years of her life before being rescued.

Loving Lunita
Have you ever been to Bali, Indonesia? It's by far one of the most magical places that I have ever been to. I got here back in February 2020 right before the coronavirus hit. I live here during my off time when I'm not working on the yachts as a chef. Due to the pandemic, I have currently lost my job, and I have taken Bali entirely into my heart.
