I’m not the best at putting my thoughts to words, but below is just some things that went through my mind when taking or looking at this picture. I hope you’re able to follow along and appreciate the beauty in every inch of this photo.
The world can be tough, but take sometime for yourself. Go somewhere in nature, out in the sun, near water and just sit there and breathe. Write down your thoughts or just listen to nature. Just give yourself the time to slow down and breathe.
This picture was taken on the day I decided to focus on myself and start self love and feeling. This picture inspires me to keep going because even in all the grass and weeds there’s beauty and in that beauty the universe will shine down on you.
After going through heartbreak and becoming numb to the world I had to decide to either change and make my life worth living or to just keep going as is. I was getting drunk most nights and just going with the motions every day. I decided that I needed to change. For me to change I needed to look deep within. I had to be honest with not just myself but also honest with those around me.
I learned about my self worth. I learned about taking control of my life. I learned to fill myself up with love before I fill anyone else up. I learned that this is my life and no one else needs to tell me how to live it.
Learning to love myself has been hard. It’s been a journey, but it’s been worth it. Looking back at this picture and remembering where I was then and where I am now, makes me want to keep going and finding my true self.
It’s still a process everyday to not fall back into old patterns. If I did fall back into old ways then I had to learn how to pull myself out of it. I had to learn how to forgive myself and to move forward.
Learning all these things about life and myself I’ve learned to manifest the life I wanted. Not only did I learn this but it came to me. I met someone who’s amazing to me and still helping me heal the broken pieces. I’ve met new friends and reconnected with old friends and learned to not compromise myself for anyone.
Photogrophy helps me keep my creativity alive. This picture helps me to continue to see the beauty in nature and how amazing the world can be. It also has shown me that somethings are just so beautiful that a picture doesn’t even give it justice.
I did do a few edits on this picture to enhance the colors and get the picture closest to how I really saw it with my own eyes. I added a little saturation, vibrance, and brilliance to the picture.
I hope this story and picture can inspire someone else. I hope what I said make sense, if it doesn’t then that’s alright too. I just know that by doing this it makes me happy and that’s something I’ve learned that it’s only my opinion that should matter to me.
In closing, I want to thank all of those who supported me and continue to support me in my journey. I want all those who are going through theirs to believe in yourself and always be true to yourself. Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about. Have patience with yourself and the world. Lastly, love yourself and love the world around you, always.
