My Everyday Hero

beyond human awareness

What makes someone a Hero?

A few months ago, your answer to this question may have been different, but today, it is wonderfully recognized that some of our most heroic of Heroes are truly the members of the working class. The farmers and migrant workers, the grocery store employees. The post office officials and the people who deliver out mail. The hospital staffs including doctors, nurses, physician assistants, the amazing custodial personnel and the many others required to run the many dimensions of a hospital. The people who make the gears and wheels of society cycle are finally being recognized. And.. my wish is that this appreciation for them does not dissolve when the page has turned and we are on the other side of this pandemic.

Then there are the heroes we call the Light Workers. The monks and nuns and the Mamos who spend there days in communion, meditation and prayer, doing their do diligence of keeping a high love-filled vibration in tact while being faced with and meeting the negative energies of the media outlets, allowing the collective fear, anxiety and grief that is being projected by parts of humanity to move through them to be transmuted back into Love. These are people who have been following the pulsations of their heart, their intuition, trusting their higher guidance and who are in communication with our Mother Earth. They speak with the elementals and all the nature spirits that tend to her body as well. These are the people who act as Threads of light to mend the auric fields, maintain the balance and who stitch up the holes created by the negativity and lower vibrational beings who insist on being "in control."

To me, an occupation doesn't make you a Hero. It's the HEART of the person behind the occupation. I believe our Hearts are the real Heroes here. We ALL have one. And we can ALL call upon and activate our hearts to show up for our Earth and HUE-manity in this time of crisis.

We all have a heroic role to play. To anyone reading this (any the many not reading this,) you have what it takes to be a Hero. No matter how you make your money, you have your heart to contribute. You have deep capacities for empathy, compassion, generosity and love. Perhaps you have time and resources to share and donate. Know that you have everything you need inside of you right inside your heart. Everything is right there to guide you into living your very own unique expression of heroism. So unzip your pajamas and unveil your stunning super-hero suit!

Here is my letter to YOU, dear Heart:

Beloved Heart warrior,

You have always been a Hero. Not just now.. when shit is hitting the fan. You have always been the sparkle glinting off the sweat you've expired by working tirelessly for your love to penetrate. I feel that love behind your smile... Your presence and depth-full capacity for tenderness is the substance that makes our society operate optimally. You generate the most potent belly laughs, the saltiest tears of sadness and joy, and you cradle the most crooning of cries in your arms without judgment. You are the steady beating of the drum that keeps us aligned with our truth and our own wisdom.

May we be the Ones, so humble, to pause and open up to hear your guidance. May we muster up enough inspiration to hustle enough energy to activate our free will to move into LOVEing actions more unconditionally. May we remember you are always there for us, showing us the way. May we remember we are all connected.

Oh dear Heart, I am beside myself with Love for you! Through your uneneding compassion, strength and love, I trust I am connected to the entire world, and the world to me.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

From my heart to yours,

-Eesha'ma
