Speaking about her long-term plans and her thoughts on her 'dream wedding', Nancy Isime said:

NANCY ISIME: I've been working since I was 17 and early retirement is the plan. So I'm doing all my work now so that by the time I'm retiring by an age that people think is too early, my portfolio and my achievements will not even let them voice it out to me. 'Retirement already?' would be 'yes, you need to rest!' By the grace of God, I know where my life is going. I'm a very planned person. I'm very structured. Nothing just happens. I mean, some things just happen, but I try my best to make sure nothing just happens. I've planned it, and if anything comes, that's why I'm able to take it when there are extra things that happen because I know that I've planned and I am well prepared. So if it happens I know that it is life that is just life-ing.

I have always seen myself working. I say this to a few people but when young girls used to sit down and daydream about them being married, I never did. I used to daydream about working and making my own money and being so independent. I fear that I may not even have my dream wedding because what is a dream wedding? Even if I get married, it will just be a wedding that we both agree at the same time is how we feel, and where we're at. So if it's a big wedding, fine. If we feel it, if we don't feel it, if it's a small wedding, it's whatever we feel. For me I've always been that child who always saw myself having my own money. Maybe it's because I came from such a humble background that asking for anything was almost a taboo. It's why I'm such a huge believer in spending on myself. Like I spend on myself so much that another person cannot take the position of 'if it's not me, you won't have this life.' I show you how to treat me!

What do you think of what Nancy Isime had to say about early retirement, making money, and her fear of not having her dream wedding because she doesn't even have one in mind?
