Alan’s family sat restlessly around his dining room table, each with a partially filled wine glass in front of them. In Alan’s place was a laptop displaying a picture of him. He raised his glass in a toast.

“Mom, Dad, Lil’Sis, Big Bro, I’m very pleased you’re all here tonight. Throughout my life, my parents told me I would never amount to anything. Bro, you always picked on me because I didn’t like sports, and Sis, you relished getting me in trouble. Now it’s my turn. I won $500,000,000, and I’m not sharing. You can leave now!
