THE BATTLE
THE GENERAL SURVEYS THE FIELD

Through the clouds of smoke, I can see pieces of the battle.
The left flank is in danger of being decimated. The right flank is still strong even though they've lost a division of cavalry. If I can exploit the weakness of the enemy to the right faster than they can over run my left flank, I have a good chance of winning.
The battle rages for another hour. The opening appears when the enemy abandons caution and throws its infantry at my right flank.
I check again, making certain my calculations are correct.
They are.
Check mate!
