Snowy Train Ride

The coal black train chugged its way down the tracks with three passenger cars in tow, it wasn't one of those modern electric trains, that could make a cross country trip in around 3 days' time, but a refurbished train from the 1880's that went along a slow meandering scenic route through mountainsides, over majestic rivers and through a track laid maze through the forests.
It made a twice daily run, with each run around the dedicated track taking around four hours round trip. On this particular day, the passengers were in for a special treat, as the night before, it had snowed, and had covered the ground and trees with a layer of snow that was to make the run an extra special one for the passengers that were on board.
As the train chugged over the winding ribbon of rails over bridges and through the woods, every inch of the route was a special site to behold, from icy lakes to snow covered woods, and were a perfect photo shoot for anybody with any sort of a camera. And the tracks weren't slick from the snow or ice but allowed the train to glide over the ground where the snow lay.
Even to see it breaking its way through the snow-covered trees was a site to behold by anybody there to see it slowly pass by. And as it did, the engineer played with the engine's whistle, letting out a playful TOOT! TOOT! TOOT!
