“Curse E’lon,” the commanding Elon lookalike muttered as it skimmed through some paperwork. “He never told us about the operational milestones Tesla will have to hit for us to get those stocks.”
“Excuse me, Commander?” a lookalike asked timidly. “We were wondering what you wanted to do with SpaceX.”
“Let it run for a few more months, then arrange for a manned flight.” Its thin lips curled into a grin. “People will not be so excited after that one explodes.”
“That is not going to happen.”
Both lookalikes turned to see a pale, haggard figure standing in the door.
“E’lon?”
