A Ride On The Superb Owl
A Tale Inspired By A Painting by Victorian fairy artist Amelia Jane Murray

Introduction
I saw this and thought there was a story there. I don't think the owl looks too bothered with his passengers.

The faeries could be mischievous, but loved being over the clouds and under the moon. They said the moon was their sister, and she always shone for them.
Though they had their faerie wings, they could not fly very high, certainly not above the clouds, so they coaxed and cajoled the Superb Owl to take them with promises of treats and sweet friendships, and the Superb Owl was always happy to take them.
When the Superb Owl wanted company, help, or knowledge, the faeries were always there.
This was a magically true friendship. They would always be there for each other, forever.
