A last hope

Running fast through the winding wasteland. Juniper, Hugo, Jared and myself (Luke) are being hunted. We got to close to the spider giants nest and oh boy is he mad. Even on these horses it will be a close call getting away from it. I just as hell hope we are lucky enough to escape. You see, Juniper is pregnant with twins. Not just any twins, the first in a million years. Twins have special abilities and can make plants grow. Said to be the life bringers of the new age and beyond. So when we found out she was having twins, it was clear what had to be done. There is a small garden the only truly pure place left in this world. It’s a hidden place and only they can lead you to the eden. When the moons converge the time will be upon you and there birth as well. It is a race against time and many dangerous creatures who seek to corrupt the twin children.

As we continue to race through the waste land, Hugo mentions he has a secret bunker south of here. Equipped with a sizable vehicle that will take us to the edge of the world. Once at the edge of the world we can make passage down to the center and begin to find eden. Jared and Juniper have had it harder than the we ought to. They have wanted children for years but never any luck but miscarriage. But not with a ray of hope a miracle has happen, with twins no less. Lesson learned nothing good comes with out punishment in this ruined world, and punishments we would all soon have. Seeing the cave entrance we started darting across the hot acid spring around us.

Just across here is the clearing for the cave about 150 paces out. Juniper beings to cough, quickly pulls herself to stop, we all quickly stop moving and remain perfectly still. I seriously hope it wasn’t woke yet. There’s a giant mutant creature unlike like rest we always run Into, if he wakes we are doomed. We waiting five whole minutes just to be sure before continuing to entered the cave. About a quarter mile inside Hugo stashed a jeep from a bomb shelter we stumbled upon a few years back in here. We began to stash supplies here just in case something happened. Well thank goodness we did I don’t know what we would of done without it. Jared ran down a bit further into the cave and came back lugging a large crate. Ok stock up we will need these to take down the big boys. Inside the crate was a ton of machine guns and bullets. Maybe we have a chance to actually do this. Ok let’s get going we don’t have much time.

We take off in the jeep the second we leave the cave BAM, A big mutant spider is right on us! Hugo slams on the breaks, all I can do is yell for him to kee driving and I pull the machine gun and myself out the sunroof and being firing away. This thing blew into pieces wow this is powerful stuff. Don’t get to boastful luke this guy wasn’t the big boys laughed Jared. I swore Jared was joking until he laughed more and said I guess I would see. As we continue on Juniper stares at the converging moons then again upon her belly saying oh babies of mine, do these things I see have to be true. Please let them be the path to redemption for us all..

Oh no 11 o’clock guys get yourselves ready now! Up ahead are two of these grotesque things some sort of inbreeding. Tentacles And legs and goop all covering this mass of a spider like body. Jared was not joking about the big boys. We arm up but it’s just not enough these things knock the jeep over scaring themself they run away, lucky for us we thought. We jump out thinking we can make a run for it now. But it’s no use we can see the world edge but I don’t think we will make it! Jared is running ahead holding Juniper and Hugo is just behind me. We kept running so fast, this things just popped out from behind a rock mass behind me and Hugo is stuck. I think it’s about to head for us Hugo yells here they come, Keep running Jared you must make it with Juniper at all costs.

Hugo jumps and quickly turns around guns blazing. I joining him begin firing at the creatures approaching at speed in hopes to slow them down. One down… two down… three down… they keep coming it’s like they were waiting for us, they lead us into a trap, we are swarmed. We keep firing and firing until they are right on top of us! Hugo looks to me and says like you and me will soon be reborn again thanks for standing beside me!

Just then a huge mutant leaps upon him devouring him in three sweeps. I keep firing… then click.. click.. click… click, oh no I’m out of bullets.. oh the fates! I look to Juniper just as I get attacked! Juniper screams NO not Luke. Just then it takes out my legs and heads towards Jared running ahead. Jared continues to run about 30 paces more, than just like that he’s down and Juniper is sent flying forward and lands on the ground ahead of her husband. She now watching him be consumed by the creatures. They begin to slowly come closer to her, she trying to back crawl away. Suddenly Juniper stops and pulls out the heart-shaped locket from her pocket opens it and looks at the beautiful photo of her and Jared in a loving embrace.

The creatures leaning over her now start to lay hands on her belly. She yells stop and they hold her and release the worm into her belly button and it is done, the new twins shall be born she screech out. The moons are now at full conversion and Juniper begins to sing, I feel so happy this wonderful world So full of love this is all for them, this is all for them, my love my love my babies. As she sings this over and over, the twins begin to emerge from her belly melting belly. Clawing and crawling throught it then devouring her body as if they were spiders, the twins are now born!
