Small Prophets
A Wonderful Magical Series From Mackenzie Crook

Introduction
I enjoyed Mackenzie Crook's first series, "Detectorists" which I wrote about here:
So when "Small Prophets" was announced, I was obviously tempted and was glad I was. If you have access to the BBC's iPlayer, you can watch it here:
So What Can I Tell You Without Spoiling It For You?
Michael lives alone; his partner, Clea, disappeared just before Christmas years ago, and her car was found abandoned on the Severn Bridge. He misses her and is waiting for her to return.
Michael is a cynical man, who has lived a lonesome life since the mysterious disappearance of his partner, Clea, many years earlier. His social circle is comprised of his fading father, concerned neighbours and customers at the tool shop where he works (who are often left frustrated by his overly candid advice). One day, he is tipped off to a whimsical secret that might just answer the questions lingering over Clea's absence.
He works in a DIY store where Gordon is his annoying supervisor.
The secret his father gives him is central to this series and gives it an unexpected slice of real magic in suburbia. Every episode, the magic becomes more real.
Conclusion
Writing this, I keep wanting to tell you more secrets, but have managed to pull back, but the glass jars you see Michael carrying are very important.
If you get the chance, you have to watch this.

Not really my kinda show but I'm happy you're enjoying it!
It sounds so freaking cool. And I hope Clea isn't dead. DX
You've done a terrible thing here Mike. You have me very intrigued about this show and I have no access to watch it.
Good job, Mr. Mike. I have seen some of your British television programs over here on our PBS channel, but if I can ever save enough so I can see other shows of yours I need to get what is called BritBox where I can get all sorts of British programs. The Detectorists does seem to be a great show.
I definitely want to watch this series. Thank you. Is this series completed yet?
