Wheat stalks
We are very much like wheat stalks. Reflect on this with me.
Wheat stalks.
We are very much like wheat stalks. Reflect on this with me.
Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you are all well and in good health. Reflect with me on these wonderful words, which I wrote myself. We are like wheat. How are we like wheat?
Let's start from the beginning. Wheat is actually a seed. If this seed is suitable for planting, it is planted; if not, it is not. Imagine, my friends, that there is a wheat seed that is not suitable for planting, and it is planted. What will happen? Yes, you guessed it.
It won't sprout. And so, there are people in our lives who are like this bad seed, which is not suitable for growing, flourishing, and shining like the wheat stalks.
There are people we cannot help, and there are people in our lives who, if we help them, think that we have opened a charity and are helping everyone for free in solving all their problems.
And there are people who come to you with their problems only. This is not the problem, but the real problem is that they blame us if they want us to make a decision about their lives on their behalf, and the decision is not right.
To begin with, there's no such thing as a right decision and a wrong decision; all decisions serve us in one way or another.
Let's return to these people. Listen to me, and I'll repeat it: you are their fuel. Yes, you are their fuel. They feed on your guilt. They are irresponsible and immature, and they feed on your energy.
Some even deliberately provoke you, and you respond to their provocations, which is exactly what they want.
Let's return to the topic of wheat stalks. Now that we know there are seeds unsuitable for planting, I want to talk about the seeds that are suitable for planting—those that grow and flourish. Don't say, "I am a suitable seed for planting," because you're not. Why? And why aren't they flourishing?
Let's return to the agricultural process. We need suitable seeds and a suitable environment for planting. And not just any suitable environment for wheat seeds; it requires a specific climate and specific soil, and so on.
I'm not a farmer, and I'm not belittling farmers; I'm simply expressing my lack of knowledge in this field. To continue our discussion, true growth requires an environment that meets your needs. Your task here is to identify your needs, define your values, and release your emotions.
I want to emphasize that these things will stay with you until the end because they are part of the journey. Even every negative feeling, or what we call negative, is actually part of the journey, so be grateful for these feelings.
What I want to point out is that if you are the ideal environment for non-plantable seeds, you will water them, provide them with the right climate and soil, but they will not grow and will not give you anything.
They will only drain you. So, don't be a safe haven for someone who isn't trying for themselves. Yes, one doesn't have to be perfect, but one should try for oneself.
Don't try for someone who isn't trying for themselves. Now, let's look at the seeds that can be planted. If these seeds are provided with the right environment, they will flourish and achieve a great deal.
Are you a seed ripe for planting, or not? If so, but you haven't found the right environment to grow, then create it for yourself. Create a world where you can be yourself.
Remember that true success lies in being content and grateful, in being yourself and feeling your emotions, not in being that unhappy billionaire. Search for yourself, for you are your only source of happiness.
Thank you for your precious time spent reading this. This was Ash Al-Naji.
