This novel is based on a true story. The telling of this story is not for revenge, but to offer an experience about Karma, and to protect the unwary from getting taken in by others.

The Story

After losing his job, David struggled to recover and find employment. Little did his wife Mel know that he had taken bribes to promote a supplier not approved by his employer. That new supplier was incapable of delivering on their promises and the company failed to complete orders and, as a result, went bankrupt.

Mel, after advice from a friend, decides to book an expensive cruise in order to change their fortunes and find a new business venture. They find an opportunity with Hugo, a widower on board, and an acquaintance from the past indirectly leads them to a new destiny.

‘Dancing on the Waves’ is based on a true story of a women who’s mantra is ‘Treat them mean, keep them keen.’ She treated her husband really mean and did the dirty on him, he worked nights at the Ford factory in Southampton, UK, just to earn enough money to pay for all the lavish holidays she demanded. She dumped him because ‘he wasn’t good enough for her’.

So he met someone else and they learned Ballroom Dancing, they ended up teaching Dancing on Cruise Ships sailing out of Southampton. The result was that he sailed around the world with all the attention he could ever want. She went to work for the probation service dealing with criminals. I love stories about Karmic Justice.

Various parts of this book are from my own experience and the painful lessons I learned. If nothing else it has helped me to make peace with the past.

Determined not to become bitter about other’s spitefulness and manipulations, it has been a very valuable lesson.
