The Giveaway. Top Story - October 2023.
This is for Paul Stewart's Unnerve, Unsettle, and Scare Me Challenge The day had finally arrived. Paul was giddy with anticipation as the door to the candy factory slowly opened. He and ninety-nine other, equally giddy children pressed forward into the large lobby and blinked as their eyes adjusted to the brightness. At the far end of the room, a neatly dressed young woman behind a large desk stared at the mob of rug rats.

Enlistiasis
The Arts Committee meeting had been productive. Dana checked his notes on the legal pad in front of him. All the items scheduled for discussion had been addressed and each had a set of initials beside it, indicating the member that particular project had been assigned to. Over half of the items bore the initials "DOC".

By the way, this is me, just so you don't have to wait til the end to figger it out. Momma sez hi, and told me to hurry up cuz I gotta change her bath water soon. I guess this will be a short letter.
